Topic: Peace and Favor
Main Scripture: 1 John 4:4-11,19
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. We love Him because He first loved us.

Walking in Love – 1 John 4:4-11
- Holy Spirit – We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead, the very God, co-existent with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is the chief agent in the regeneration of the soul, the chief convictor of sin and the chief comforter of the believer. Simultaneous with regeneration, the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ, permanently indwells in him and seals him in salvation for all eternity (John 16:1-13).
- Filling of the Holy Spirit is the influence or control that the Holy Spirit exercises over you when you yield yourself to Him.
- How to be filled with the Holy Spirit:
- Be clean (1John 1:9)
- Conviction
- Repentance
- Confession
- Be yielded
- Walking in the Spirit
- Walk is an action and this implies our actions, conduct, and lifestyle are influenced and controlled by the Holy Spirit.
- Works of the flesh (Sexual, spiritual and societal sins)
